Eshiels Toll

Eshiels Toll was the original toll house for the eastern approach to Peebles and dates from 1773.

Eshiels Toll sits at the foot of the forest and couldn’t be handier for the Glentress trails

The Royal Burgh of Peebles is a bustling Borders market town with a rich history dating back before the 12th century reign of King David.

Peebles stands on the famous River Tweed, surrounded by leafy woodland and rolling hills.
